Terms of Service

1. Who we are and what this covers

Branch Prep is an online SAT practice service operated by Vejda Studios Inc. (“we,” “us”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and us. They cover the Branch Prep website, your account, practice questions, practice tests, analytics, the AI tutor and anything else we offer through the site (together, the “Service”).

By creating an account, signing in, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Service.

2. Who can use Branch Prep

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you’re under 18 (or under the age of majority where you live), you may use the Service only with the permission of a parent or legal guardian, who agrees to these Terms on your behalf and is responsible for any purchase made on your account. We don’t knowingly allow children under 13 to use the Service. If we learn that an account belongs to a child under 13, we’ll close it and delete its information.

3. Your account

You sign in with Google or with a one-time code sent to your email. Your account is for one person: please don’t share it or let others use it. Keep access to your email and Google account secure, because anyone who can read your sign-in codes can get into your account. Tell us at support@branchprep.com if you think someone else has used your account.

4. Free access and guest passes

Anyone with an account can practice a fixed set of free SAT questions. A guest pass gives an account 10 days of extra access to Branch Prep SAT, as described when it’s claimed; it doesn’t cover other tests or products we may offer. Guest passes are free gifts: they have no cash value, can’t be sold or traded, and each account can use only one. Creating extra accounts to get more free access isn’t allowed. We may change what the free access or guest passes include, or end them, at any time.

5. Subscriptions, billing and cancellation

Plans and prices. Full access to Branch Prep SAT is sold as a subscription in one of these plans, in US dollars, plus any sales tax or VAT that applies where you live:

• 1 month: $49.99, renewing every month
• 3 months: $119.99, renewing every 3 months
• 12 months: $299, renewing every year

Every plan includes the same features; longer plans cost less per month. Other tests or products we may offer later can have their own plans and prices, shown before you buy.

Automatic renewal. Your subscription starts when you pay and renews automatically at the end of each period for the same length and price, charging the payment method on file, until you cancel. Before a 12-month plan renews you’ll get a reminder email. You can switch plans from Billing; a new plan takes effect as shown there.

Payments. Purchases are processed by Stripe and sold through Link, Stripe’s checkout service, which acts as the merchant of record: it charges your payment method, collects any sales tax, and sends your receipts. Your card statement shows “LINK.COM*”, and Link’s own terms also apply to the payment. You can see your orders and manage your subscription at link.com as well as in Billing. We never see or store your full card number.

Cancelling. You can cancel anytime from Billing in your account menu, without contacting us. Cancellation stops future charges; you keep full access until the end of the billing period you’ve already paid for, and then your account returns to free access. Your practice history stays in your account.

Refunds. Payments are non-refundable and we don’t give partial refunds for unused time, except where the law requires it. If something went wrong, like a charge after you cancelled or a duplicate charge, email us within 30 days and we’ll make it right. Link’s support may also issue refunds under its own policies, and any cooling-off rights where you live still apply.

Price changes. If we change the price of your plan, we’ll tell you by email at least 30 days before it applies to you (at your next renewal), so you can cancel first if you’d like.

6. What you can and can’t do

We give you a personal, non-transferable license to use the Service for your own test preparation while your account is in good standing. You agree not to:

• copy, screenshot in bulk, download, publish, share or sell our questions, explanations or other content;
• share your account, or sell or trade access to it;
• use bots, scrapers or other automated tools to access the Service or collect its content;
• use our content to build a competing product or to train an artificial intelligence model;
• try to get around access limits, usage limits or security measures, or to reverse engineer the Service;
• use the AI tutor to create harmful, hateful or illegal content, or for anything unrelated to studying; or
• break the law or disrupt the Service or other people’s use of it.

7. Our content

Branch Prep’s questions, explanations, hints, practice tests, software and design are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws. Apart from the license above, these Terms don’t give you any rights to them.

SAT® is a trademark registered by the College Board, which is not affiliated with, and does not endorse, Branch Prep. Our questions are original practice material written in the style of the SAT; they aren’t official SAT questions.

8. The AI tutor

Paid accounts can ask the AI tutor for hints and explanations, up to 3,000 messages a month on every plan (the count resets monthly, counted from the day your plan started). We may also slow or pause the tutor for an account whose use looks automated or abusive. The tutor is an automated AI system, not a person. It can be wrong or unclear, so check its answers against the explanation and use your own judgment. Please don’t share personal or sensitive information in tutor messages. Messages are processed as described in our Privacy Policy.

9. Scores and results

Practice test scores are estimates based on how you answered, meant to help you study. They aren’t official scores and may differ from your actual SAT results. We don’t guarantee any particular score, improvement or admissions outcome.

10. Ending your access

You can stop using the Service at any time, and ask us to delete your account by emailing support@branchprep.com. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these Terms, misuses the Service or creates risk for others. If we close a paid account for a reason other than a breach of these Terms, we’ll refund the unused part of the current billing period.

11. Disclaimers

We work hard to make Branch Prep accurate and reliable, but the Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don’t promise the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free or free of mistakes in questions or explanations.

12. Limits on our liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we won’t be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits or opportunities, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or US$50. Some places don’t allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.

13. Disputes

If you have a problem with the Service, please email us first at support@branchprep.com; most issues can be sorted out quickly. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute that isn’t resolved informally will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Maryland, except that either of us may bring a claim in small-claims court where it qualifies. Nothing here takes away rights you have under consumer protection laws where you live.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the Service changes. We’ll post the new version here with a new effective date, and for significant changes we’ll let you know by email or in the app before they take effect. If you keep using the Service after changes take effect, you accept the updated Terms.

15. Other terms

These Terms and our Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about the Service. If part of these Terms can’t be enforced, the rest still applies. If we don’t enforce a term right away, we haven’t given up the right to enforce it later. You can’t transfer your rights under these Terms; we may transfer ours as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of the Service.
